This page explains how Cherry Trick researches, checks and corrects the facts behind our Yu Sleep review and every other page on this site. We apply it first to our Yu Sleep review and then to every page we publish afterward, so a reader can check any claim against the source it came from.

The policy covers four things: how we rank sources, what we test ourselves versus what we report from elsewhere, how a fact gets corrected once it is published, and how we label AI-generated images. Nothing on this page changes from product to product; it is the process we apply to Yu Sleep and to every offer we cover.

How We Source Every Fact

Every fact on this site is ranked by where it came from, and a claim from the seller is always labeled as a claim, not treated as proof. We rank sources in this order, highest first:

  1. What we test ourselves, our own photos and notes, when we have bought and used a product.
  2. The seller's own pages, the order page, sales letter, FAQ and terms. We quote these directly and always say they are the seller's claim, not our finding.
  3. Independent science, peer-reviewed studies (PubMed, PMC, Cochrane), government health agencies (NIH, FDA, FTC, CDC) and major health publishers (Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Sleep Foundation). We name the study size, the population and the dose every time a study is cited.
  4. Real buyer platforms, Trustpilot, the Better Business Bureau, Reddit and Amazon, limited to reports and listings we can confirm match the actual product.
  5. What we don't use as a source, press releases, "as featured in" logos, other review sites and affiliate marketing pages. We may mention what they claim, but we never cite them as evidence.

When sources disagree, and a seller's own pages sometimes contradict each other, we say so and name both versions rather than picking one silently. Our full testing process, beyond how we rank sources, is set out on how we test.

What We Test Ourselves vs What We Report

Every review on this site separates three layers: what we tested ourselves, what buyers say, and what the studies show, and each fact belongs to exactly one of those layers. As of this policy's publication date, Cherry Trick has not bought a bottle of Yu Sleep, so our Yu Sleep review says that directly in its own-test section instead of describing a bottle, a taste or a delivery it has not seen. That review will be updated, with a visible "updated" date, once a test purchase is complete.

We never fabricate a test, a result, a person, a before/after image or a star rating, with or without a disclaimer, and this site generates no star-rating schema from buyer-review data. Readers who want the theme breakdown and linked buyer quotes we did collect can see them in our Yu Sleep review.

How We Handle Corrections

Every page on this site shows a "last updated" date, and that date changes whenever a fact on the page changes. A correction can mean:

  1. A number changed on the seller's own pages, such as a price or a guarantee term.
  2. A study count or buyer-report count changed because we read new reports.
  3. An error we made was found and fixed.

Readers who believe a fact is wrong can reach us through contact us, and we re-check the original source before changing anything; we do not change a published fact on request alone, only once we have verified it against the source again.

AI Images and Illustrations

Any AI-generated image on this site is a plain illustration, never a photo of a real test, and it is always labeled as one. Files named ai-* get the automatic caption "AI illustration", and files named photo-* get the caption "Our photo"; the two are never mixed up or presented as each other. AI illustrations never show people, before-and-after comparisons or screenshots of results, whether or not a caption is present.

What We Never Do

Beyond how we source and correct facts, some things this site never does, regardless of the product under review:

  • Fabricate a review, a test result, a person or a before-and-after image.
  • Invent a credential for anyone named on a seller's page.
  • Present a seller's claim as our own finding.
  • Make a disease claim or call an ingredient "clinically proven".
  • Run this site without disclosing how we earn money; see our affiliate disclosure.
