This page explains, in plain language, how Cherry Trick makes money and how that shapes what you see on this site. It covers two things: what we earn today, and what changes if that ever does.

The Short Version

Short version: Cherry Trick earns nothing from Yu Sleep today, we do not link to its order page, and if that ever changes it will say so on the page where the link appears, not only here. No offer link exists anywhere on this site, and the reason, Yu Sleep's own affiliate terms, is explained in full below.

How We Are Paid Right Now

Right now, Cherry Trick is not paid by Yu Sleep, by its seller, or by ClickBank, the network that processes Yu Sleep orders. Like most independent review sites, our general compensation model is the standard one: when a page links to a product's order page with an affiliate link, and a reader buys through that link, the site can earn a commission at no extra cost to the reader. On this site, that kind of link is marked with a [[cta]] tag in the page source and renders as a labelled call-to-action box, never a plain text link inside a paragraph. No such box currently points at Yu Sleep, because no fallback link has been set and no call-to-action box renders anywhere on the site yet.

Nothing on this page changes what our review pages say: those are written from the dossier of facts we collected, not from what pays the bills.

We do not link to Yu Sleep's order page because Yu Sleep's own affiliate terms do not allow it for a site like this one.

"This offer does not allow Brand Bidding, Branded Search or any traffic from Google unless it is Display or YouTube. No Microsoft or Quora traffic either."

In plain terms, that rules out the organic Google and Bing search traffic a site like Cherry Trick runs on. Cherry Trick still reviews Yu Sleep independently while that restriction stands, it simply does not carry a paid link to it. The same affiliate terms also require any affiliate who does promote Yu Sleep to "make it clear that the page is a REVIEW page and you're being compensated for the review." That is one reason every page on this site already carries an "Independent review" label and a disclosure strip above any call-to-action box, whether or not Yu Sleep is the product being discussed. If the vendor approves organic search traffic in writing, this page and the terms gate in our research notes will be updated the same day.

If we ever add a link that pays Cherry Trick, three things will always be true.

  • The page carrying the link says so, in plain words near the link itself, not only on this page.
  • The commission, if any, costs you nothing extra; the price you pay is set by the seller, not by whether you came through a link on this site.
  • The product still has to earn its place: our review process, see how we test, does not change because a link pays us.

None of this is true of Yu Sleep today: no link, no commission, no recommendation.

What This Disclosure Does Not Change

Being paid for a link, when it happens, never changes what our review pages conclude. Every fact on our review, legit and facet pages comes from primary sources logged in our research, not from what a vendor or network is willing to pay. The standards those pages are held to, including how sources are ranked and how a wrong fact gets corrected, are set out in our editorial policy.
